as may be collected by the Suput. - most of the Freedmen here, are living in houses, built by themselves, or Soldiers, on town lots belonging to citizens, but thus far none have been ejected. in all cases where it has become necessary for them to remove, they have been granted the privalege [[privilege] of removing or disposing of these buildings

Mortuary

The health of the Freedmen of this County has much improved since my last Report, a very material change is perceptible when they have removed from the confines of the towns I have to report only one (1) death during the month this resulting from Small Pox. 

Orphans

The orphans of this County, are well provided for thus far, those that have been apprenticed have been bound by Indenture
