Needs (3) three stoves to complete the arrangements for heating his school rooms. Wishes the Bureau would furnish them. These stoves should be coal stoves and should have (12) twelve feet of pipe and (1) one elbow each.-

Respectfully referred to Bvt Maj Genl. Wm P. Carlin Asst Comr. I like the spirit in which this application is made. From a personal inspection of the school rooms in question the stoves appear to be necessary to the school. The statement that there are no means for purchasing them I believe to be correct. If in any instance we aid in furnishing school rooms, this application seems worthy of a favorable consideration.
