Ass't Commr Tenn - remarking that if the orphan children within referred to are now a charge to the Government and the Government will be relieved of their support by sending them to Kansas, and their future support and education be provided for beyond a certain group - their transportation further can be furnished as requested. If a [[?]] of their tender age, it is necessary to send some one in charge of them, then transportation can be furnished for Mrs Trent, but not for her children - The whole matter is referred back to Genl- Carlin for full investigation and recommendation -
