Carpenter Mrs Woodson.

Madam
Chilly Carpenter has made a complaint at this Office, that you owe her $60.00 for the labor of her two daughters. The Mother and also the two girls need their money. I am told you refuse to pay, and have told one of the girls they could not get it because there were no writings. If you design to take advantage of this I will also take advantage of this girls labor for you and charge a larger renumeration than that above stated. Thirty Dollars apiece for the girls is very small compensation for two years service. You will please arrange this matter at once with Doctor Young, or call at this Office and arrange it. We shall see that Justice is done to these parties.
Yours Respectfully
