February 13th 1868 Bledsoe Mr. Wake Co. The old man has been here again, and is still dissatisfied. Admitting you sold the cotton for $360.00. Take from the bagging and rope - say $30.00 more or less. Guano $160.00 would leave $170.00. Take one third from that, your rent, would leave $113.30 to be divided between Nat and Griffith, which would give to each $56.65. You of course can only take one third of what was made. Nat wishes to appeal this matter to Col Bomford, therefore I write you again, whatever the farm made you can only claim one third. Nat will have his part however small. Yours Respectfully H.C.
