15 years old and able to do something to help him. Lee has a just claim upon your services until you are of age. The law provides that he give you about-$100 00 when you are of age, and learn you to read, and good clothes. I think you ought to go back to him and do as well as you can to remunerate him for what he has done for you.

Matilda Smith complains that you have her cow. She and her husband (now dead) let you take this cow to keep for her milk, until called for. She says you refuse to give her up. You will at once give to this woman her cow or call at this Office and explain the matter and save further trouble.
