Dennis Whitley complains at this Office that one Gideon O.Neil threatened to shoot him and afterwards struck. him with a plow beam. This was an assault occasioned by O'Neil taking an iron wedge belonging to Dennis without his consent, and when Dennis asked him for it, O'Neil made the assault, You will please have this man arrested and if you find this statement correct. have him held to bail in the sum of $500 00 for his appearance at. Court. Please report to me your action.
