NARA 862 42. which, deceased gave to the woman who took care of him the receipt - with the direction to take the money for her own use, This woman had a hard task in caring for Williams who was very sick for months, unable to help himself. She became responsible for the Doctors bill - and furnished him every thing he needed during his sickness, and also for his burial. She is herself poor and needs remuneration for her services. There is no doubt this man gave her the bounty that was coming to him. Is any thing more, necessary in this last case. The man Williams had no relatives that he knew of. Tobias Atkinson complains that Ralph Oliver assaulted him with an axe and threatened to kill him. That he intrudes upon his premises has entered his house under pretense of searching it, without cause. You will take this mans statement and if upon investigation you find it correct you will have Oliver arrested and held to bail in the sum of $500.00 to keep the peace, and for his appearance at Court.
