Sir.
Chaney Green says you threated to turn her out of her house unless she sends he son away. Her son has cut his food badly, and is only there for a short time until he is able to go to work. 
I know nothing of the circumstances, but I should judge from the statement made me that they have done nothing to cause this movement. They inform me it is not their wish to interfere with any thing that does not belong to them. Please give him a little time for his foot to heal, and he will leave.

It appears upon investigation that you have forfeited any right to the House you occupy. You having contracted for another place and the House Mr N.A. Webster has prepared is ready for you. You will leave the house you are in belonging to Mr Richardson at once and five no further trouble

Sir.
There is a complaint made against you from Wilmington - through this Office, for the unlawful detention of a child named "Grace" - daughter of Rosalla Wilson - now living in the New Hanover, County.
Rosalla demands her child "Grace", and under the circumstances, I am directed to say you will be obliged to send her, at your own expenses, to her Mother,  You will please let me hear from you on the reception of this.

Resin Williams (col) complains that W.C. Kelley Esq of Durham Depot, owes him on a settlement of the crop of 1866. The following is his account.
To clearing up Ground  $15 00
To 999 bundles of Fodder  1.40
To 7 Barrels of Corn  35.00
Total  $51.50
Will you please do what you can to collect this, as this old man is in need of it.
