or congregate on said farm without special permition from the proprietor J.J. Polk no live stock guns or pistols will be allowed on said farm without special permition  A fine of one dollar will be assessed for every violation of any of the stipulations of this contract or a violation of any plane will understood order in regard to work on said farm the said Polk agrees to keep said waggons in repair and oxen at his one [own] Expence for the general use of the plantation the woman Mary is to put in her little daughter Becky in the crop to make her an equal partner with the others all lost time either from sickness or otherwise to be reported weekly or daily and the said Polk is to keep an account of the same which is to be deducted in a final settlement at the end of the year at such price per day as labor was worth at the time it was  last  witness our hands and seals this 1st day of January 1866.
