Article of agreement made And Entered into before James Y. McGuire of one part and Emiline Broglin of the other for the year 1867.
This witnesseth that the said Emiline hereby Agrees to do any & all kind of work. About the house tho, especially to attend to milcking, washing & cooking and furthermore, hereby agrees to subject herself entirely to the orders of Mrs. McGuire during the mentioned year 1867. And the said McGuire Also promises to pay to said Emiline twenty dollars and find provisions and three suits clothes each to the family provided that they fulfill their agreement. Til the last day of the agreement, And said Emeline agrees to pay her doctor bills and promises to pay for lost time in case of sickness and other losses. And Also promises to obey and be obedient to Mrs. McGuire
