I, Rose McGuire agrees to live with James x during the year of 1866, under the following agreement The said Rose is to cook wash milk and iron and do all necessary work about the house and
kitchen to work in the garden when required and to discharge her duty faithfully as a cook and house servant - to be under the controll and management of Mrs McGuire to be obedient and agreeable The said James McGuire is to give the said Rose fifty dollars, and clothe and feed her, - to pay her Dr. Bill and she replace the same amount at the end of the year for Drs. Bill
