Article of agreement between RM Wright of the 1st Part and Sopha Prewitt of the 2nd Part For the year 1866.

50 $             For and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars to be paid at the end of the year. Sopha Prewitt is to work faithfully in the house & on the Farm doing all reasonable work required of her, Until the 25th day of December 1866. and according to agreement the said Sopha has agreed that if She is confined over a reasonable space of time that She is not to have any Pay, more than board and Two Suits of clothing. 

and it is further agreed that if said Sopha is confined during the Months of May June or July that she is to submit to a reasonable deduction for the time lost. 

Said Sophia is to furnish her own clothing and pay her own Doctors bills She is to be obedient and not impertinant and Ever willing to do any reasonable work required of her
