Transcription Notes:
Name is Edmond L. Nerren - of Hardeman Co., TENN. I saw his "Oath of Allegiance" for an E.L. Nerren of Hardeman Co, as well as Slave Schedules, Censuses, etc... So this is Mrs. E.L. Nerren. NO E.L. HERREN came up in any records of Tennessee. *"Smith Price" is the Freedman's name, last name not Daustic. The page before this says the Contract is between Mrs. E.L. NERREN and PRICE. At the top of this page it says Freedman Smith.
