We should have an Indian delegate speaker, to appear before the two major houses in behalf of Indians.

D'Arcy gave his report on Alaskan matters. 
Curry, with reference to the same matter:
It is problem of man's dependence on land. The argument is that the Alaskans have no right to the land because they have no treaties, title [[titile corrected by crossed out "i"]] or signed agreement. and also that by Russia selling Alaska to the US that left the Alaskan Indians out. Another thing, the Attorney General ruled that there are no tribes in Alaska. Water rights, the argument is that if the Indians own the land, then the Government owns the water. Of course, the Indians get their living from the water, andL [[and]] if the Indians are protected in their land rights, this means they have become reservation Indians. and, if land ixs [[is]] allowed to remain in Indian ownership, the land will be removed from development. They say the Indians dont [[don't]] know how to use and develop the land.

Mr. Wright told about what Ruth Bronson is doing on her trip to Alaska.-and of the harbor and breakwater problems. D'Arcy explained that in order to help the Alaskan Indians, Ruth Bronson had been sent up there to make a study and investigation and report on the situation.
