We have received a copy of the statement of Robert S. Kerr Governor of Oklahoma in regard to Indian Claims Commision Bill HR 4497 -

The statement of Mr Kerr is very favorable to us we The Medewakanton Sioux Indians otherwise known as the Santee Sioux. We have heard of your organization but have never hear of your date of meetings till it is over but we would like to have you notify us of your next meeting and your rules, by-laws or your Constitutions. We will be glad to get them and will be glad to be go and attend your meetings and be members.

Hoping to hear from you at an early date and thanking you with personal regards.
