Mr. Ben Dwight
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Dear Mr. Dwight:

We feel so complimented that you and others would like to have a musical number from us at the National Congress of American Indians that is to convene in Oklahoma City next week, and regret very much that we are unable to accept your kind invitation.

I have just returned from talking with Mr. Correll, and due to the fact that next week is our examination week, and it is necessary that all students and teachers be here at that time, we find it unwise to take any one from the campus. Our week ends with our annual bazaar which also ties up the weekend.

It would be a distinct pleasure to come to the convention and furnish a special number, but I am sure you understand why we can't.

We sincerely hope you will have a very splendid meeting, and maybe we can help out another time.

Sincerely yours

Flodelle Dyer
