COURTESY RESOLUTION.

Whereas, the National Congress of American Indians has been privileged to hold their fourth Annual Convention in this beautiful and historic city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the heart of the Southwest Indian country and,

Whereas, we have enjoyed three days of inspirational talks and discussions all pertaining to our own tribal affairs and,

Whereas, we have enjoyed the warm and gracious hospitality of these New Mexicans,

Therefore, Be it Resolved that, We, the National Congress of American Indians do hereby extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the daily newspapers for giving our meeting much good publicity; to the Directors of the Art Museum for the use of their lovely building; to the County Commissioners and  Judge for the use of the Court Room for our meeting place; to the Santa Fe and Albuquerque Indian Schools for the delightful music rendered by the mixed chorus and for the fine banquet and program following, prepared by the students and instructors of those schools; to General Patrick Hurley and the other speakers; to the New Mexico Association on Indian Affairs who have been of material aid in arranging for our comfort and acting as hostesses, and to everyone who has had a part in making this our most successful Convention - we express our deepest gratitude.
