and the two of us are going to try and hang out in the background and actually let the artist do most of the talking.

[00:19:57]
{SPEAKER name="Michael Stone"}
How many people in the audience speak Spanish?
Ok, about half and half. So you will have to bare with us but everybody speaks English, is there anyone hear who doesn't speak English? Ok, Entonces, vamos a tratar de platicar en los dos idiomas?
[00:20:23]
{SPEAKER name="Michael Stone"}
So those of you who don't speak Spanish are going to have to bare with us while we kinda of move back and forth between the two languages. This is a very typical kind of situation I might add.

[00:20:32]
{SPEAKER name="Michael Stone"}
You know you often find yourself on the border of trying to deal with the fact of two different cultures, some cases three or four if you got other indigenous groups involved, different languages. It requires a lot of understanding, a lot of patience so I am going to ask the audience to bare with us.

[00:20:51]
{SPEAKER name="Michael Stone"}
You know, with that in mind. I guess, Roman why don't we start with you since you are the most closely involved in the lowriding situation.

[00:21:08]
{SPEAKER name="Michael Stone"}
What we want to try to do today and the next half hour or so is relate the painting of murals to the whole lowrider scene, the lowrider ethic, the orientation of lowriders. So, why don't I just turn the mic over to you and y'know let you have a say.

[00:21:32]
{SPEAKER name="Roman"}
Thanks Mike. The lowrider movement field been around since about the earlier 50s or so, late 40s, and has since then become stronger and stronger in a way as far as tradition, a way we can all come together and do an expression, create masterpieces, and kind of just have a really good time together.

[00:21:59]
{SPEAKER name="Roman"}
It's what I feel is a positive influence of the street. Especially, nowadays you hear a lot of negative influences going around. And through lowriding, I found that we can all come together and be as brothers and together create something we can all be proud of.
