Sir,
I have the honor to report that I have agreed on your behalf, with Mr Roberts, to rent the house and lot on the corner of Adams and Mc Donough Streets, in this city, for the months of May, June, July, August, and September, 1866, at the rent of Seventy five dollars per month. Possession to be given immediately - the rent to commence on the first day of May, 1866. The well to be cleaned out, and a platform built upon the piers at the side of the house where the school house formerly stood, with steps to the ground, by the tenants, the cost of the same to be deducted from the rent. I have requested Mr. Roberts to have the lease drawn immediately.

Very Respectfully Yours,
