General-
Herewith I send you the account of expenditures on building at Stevenson Alabama which was burned on the - day of Oct. 1866. The money was expended under the direction of our Superintendent W.F. Mitchell at Nashville & our teachers James Nichols residing at Stevenson. We shall be obliged by your putting the math in such a shape that we can get the amount promptly & this be enabled to stunt the rebuilding of the said school have immediately. This is an intention, relying on the praise recd. from your thro' Rev. C.W. Buckly of $350. on the completion of the building. The bill is made out as you perceive merely for the call of re-erection, but we are, it secure to us equally instilled to the original amount paid for the building with Government. Give us that, also, if you can, & we will try to make the building that much better.

There is something done to an association for rents at Huntsville & also for transportation of teachers, which we should be very glad to receive at your earliest convenience. I hope a statement of the amount from Mr. Mitchell will accompany this

Very Respy, yours
Jos. S. Travelli
