Swayne & yourself are desirous of educating the poor whites of this place, I think a school of 40 or 50 could be formed & a teacher could be found here to teach them. In such an event, it would be a Government School; & the Government, not any particular denomination would have [[struck out]]the[[/struck out]] due honor & praise.
