Dear Sir,
Mr. Allen Williams left for Carrollton on yesterday. Inasmuch as the first part of the month was spent in a trip to Mobile, and not in your service, I suggest he receive only one-half of months pay.
The Amt. due for rent for this month and hereafter will be $24.50 instead of $28.66. I've caused a reduction from $200 to $150.00- of the rent of the house I occupy.

Permit me to again remind you that I've not yet received my transportation money. I do not understand the cause of the delay. I want the money.

We are continually refusing scholars because our schools are full. I know you will send me another teacher as soon as you can. Everything here is progressing finely.

Very Respectfully
Chas C. Arms
