We are very desirous to get our schools & normal classes at Huntsville under way again The principal difficulty in this seems to be a house for boarding the teachers - & a school house or two. Those occupied for the last two years were restored to the owners or claimants - say in June or July. This is Mr Mitchells first object at Huntsville - as we regard this as almost essential to the success of the former project. For the latter purpose we may have to apply to the Bureau & I presume thro' Gen Swayne. Of this we shall know more also when we hear from Mr Mitchell.

Much obliged for your attention & courtesy - Dr. Warren superintendent of education for Miss. [] an old classmate of mine, passed thro' here a day or two ago, on his way from Washington City. Yrs &c Jos. S. Travelli []
