residing on the place and others near enough to attend from seventy five to one hundred pupils could be obtained if desirable. I propose taking charge of the school myself - as to my qualifications in every respect, if authority is given me, I will furnish the most satisfactory evidence. In the mean time I would be pleased to hear from you, or the Superintendent of education if there be one, on the subject. If the proposition I make be favored, if desirable I will take pleasure in calling on you or the proper official in person with all necessary vouchers as to character and qualifications and arrange the details.
