I do hope my Dear Sir that if you find it absolutely necessary to make the change, that you will grant me the privilege of getting all I can from the Freedmen to make up some of the loss that I shall sustain by the change of wages, my School is getting on finely.  Mr Grout is a fine Disciplinarian I am much pleased with him, he is getting restless, having, not yet received any of the one thing needful, as a great many look on money
