Asks the assistance of the Commissioner in procuring pay for his services rendered as teacher of Freedmen in the above state. Was employed by the Supt of Education of his district at $75 per month; has recd pay for services rendered except four month, for which time, he claims pay, less eleven dollars which was paid him by the colored people.
