yours to hand & contents noted In reply to your request I will briefly state

The Building is owned by Abraham Holley it is a Log Building good Size Framed Roof good floor & doors & chimney
Worth $125.00 dollars

The Land the Building is on is owned by James. E. Jones A Republican who gave the Freedmen Liberty to build the House on his Land for a School House & it is to Remain as long as the Freedmen conduct themselves well but James.E. Jones has no Claim on the Building Abraham Holley furnished the materials & built the House with that understanding
The Freedmen also use The Building for a meeting House to Preach in on Sundays
