coming down from Lyme next week for a few days.

She is just as sweet & darling as ever and laughs & makes a joke of things. What a remarkable person she is; an example to us all.

When you write, as I know you will, I may have to read the letter to her (or one of the nurses will) and she will be most happy to hear from you. She would write to you herself but just for the present she cannot form the letters.

I wish I could move in & take care of her but still have my 13 yr. old boy at home with no maid & all the work to do. The other two get out of college the end of May & we move down to Southampton the first part of June. At least I am well over my hysterectomy or I'd be no good at all!

Tante Bess is in the best hands with the best care. That is a relief & now we shall have to be patient to see what time will bring.

If there is anything I can do - please let me know. Very Sincerely, Emily Keyes Belt
