"The Light of Day"

Wendell Poindexter
For Wendell Poindexter, artistic expression is artistic expression. An artist, a student, an adult, a child...anyone can express human feeling using whatever art forms are available. His integrated approach is a marvelous way to encourage students, and the rest of us, to learn about the arts, about ourselves, about what is is to be human.

As director of the new fine arts center at Frederick Community College, Wendell acts as curator of the Mary Condon Hodgson Gallery and coordinates scheduling and promotion of activities at the Jack B. Kussmaul Theater.
