capable of taking the lead of a band like this the members of the Band being furnished with their appropriate instruments commence the overture to Pandemonium by Belzybub, an overture which in my opinion could not be performed by any other Band without a rehearsal. The contrast between the Piano's and Forte's were perceptible only to the nicest musical ear, and as there are but few people in Newport capable of appreciating this elaborate performance it was not encored, several other poplar pieces were performance by this truly National Band. morning dawned on this little hive of industry before they had finished the first part of their bill, so they repared on board of their several vessels and prepared to leave this paridise of pleasure, and pleasant inhabitants.
