pay for the same [[?]] rat he 57 Sect [[ng?]] [[illegible]] Class, and £3.10 Sterling for 2nd Class Passengers, servants, &c. These tickets entitle the holders to all the privileges secured by the Company's Contract with the Egyptian Government, for particulars of which see "Hand Book of Information relative to Journey across Egypt."
3. Passengers preferring to arrange their own journey through Egypt will be booked here by the Company's Steamers as far as Suez, and again on arrival at Alexandria from thence to any Port beyond. They will pay for their Railway tickets through Egypt to the Transmit Administration Office at local rates, and the amount of their passage forward from Alexandria to the Company's Office there. The passage Money charged from Alexandria will be in exact proportion to the whole amount of the Sea Passage from Singapore, but in transit through Egypt these Passengers will not enjoy the same advantages which are secured under the Company's Contract for those who pre-engage their passage across the Isthmus, and for whose convenience the Egyptian Government has had to make exclusive arrangements.
4. In consequence of the above new arrangements the rates of Passage Money hitherto charged are reduced in the sums of ten pounds for 1st Class, and five pounds for 2nd Class, Passengers servants, &c., the tickets for Railway through Egypt being charged for separately as above stated.
