Artist for Victory ex. to London Dear Mr. Arms When I spoke to Mr Kroll last week concerning the London Exhibition, he told me that he would communicate with you and that I might then expect to hear directly from you. As you realized, this sort of thing is difficult and embarrassing for me, but nevertheless I feel that there should be some clarification as to why I was invited to send a print rather than a painting. I should like to support this exhibition by my personal participation because I believe whole-heartedly in cultural interchanges between the nations. I
