LEO CASTELLI
July 15, 1964

Dear Mr. Castelli,

How are you all? Hope everything, weather included, is just grand and that you all are well.

The reason I did not send you a statement earlier, is that I heard Nina giving you all the lowdown over the phone and there was very little to add. But I'm delighted to set your heart at ease right now.

First, let me say, that when we received your list of expenditures (the three checks you took with you), I was crestfallen. Mr. Futterman had told me that I was to keep $5500. on tap for Corporation taxes. But rest assured, all is well and all is covered!

Now to give you the pertinent facts: Everything has been paid, with the exception of a few bills, (I will give you a rundown) and we have a balance of $507. This still takes into account post dated payroll checks made out to Ivan and Jim; also our August rent. All Artists have been paid, (as per our understanding), and the staff has all received their pay through the end of August. The only items still unpaid are: Betty Parsons, $1200., Pension Plan, $659., one or two current Rauschenberg bills, also a few of our own current ones.

I intend coming in one day during the first week of August, to make whatever deposit there might be, and judge from that what bills I can take care of. I am optimistic... As you know, we have not as yet received the $15,000, from Ganz and when that does come in, we shall again be affluent...

Have a wonderful summer...
Affectionately,
Nancy
