Dear Eleanor:

I am not sure where this letter will find you. However, I was wondering why you did not reply to my last letter informing you that I had to cancel my trip to New York, of last June.

However, to get to the matter at hand: my partner, Jim Newman and myself are planning to come to New York late August and stay on until mid-September. I hope you will be in New York at that time in view of the fact that we still must get together about Indiana.

Have heard very good reports about your Marisol show and am very anxious to see what the new work is like. I hope your trip to Europe was an enjoyable one.

Looking forward to seeing you and Allen late summer and please give my regards to our mutual friends, I remain, as ever,

Sincerely,

Rolf
