Dear Eleanore,

The news about the Indiana show delighted me... I am very happy for Bob and for you that his show was such a success but, at the same time, I am very sorry that it means an Indiana show is out of the question for the West Coast for the time being. Please tell Bob when you see him how happy I am for him and that I feel his success is particularly well deserved.

There is a lot of interest in Indiana's work here too.... one of our local collectors, Bill Johnson, has recently acquired a very fine painting. Abe Adler, a leading light here with the LA County Museum, has wanted an Indiana for a long time but has been unable to locate one. Are there any paintings, drawings or Indiana constructions available? If there is anything at all, would you please send me some photographs together with all other information....it would be very much appreciated.

Another artist whose work I am very much interested in is Marisol. Let me know what your feelings are on this subject and what the situation is with her...this would not be for the immediate future but for sometime in the next season.
