Miss Eleanor Ward,
Stable Gallery
33 East 74th Street,
New York, N.Y.

Dear Miss Ward:

Our Women´s Committee has asked me to write you to see whether it would be possible to buy Robert Indiana´s The Demuth American Dream No. 5 for Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00 U.S. Funds). They would be interested in acquiring it immediately if it could be bought for this amount of money and they would be willing to let it go from the Lady Dunn International Exhibition in Fredericton to the one in The Tate. I hope that this arrangement will seem satisfactory to you.

Sincerely yours,
Jean S. Boggs
