Asks for the opinion of Col. A.G. Brady Supt Central Dist. in regard to the proposed marriage of Turner Greene and Emma Kenney colored. Continuation of endorsements.  Ends't. of Genl. Whittlesey, E.B. p. [[67?]]  Respectfully returned to Brevt. Col. Brady Supt. Central District N.C. Under the recent act of the Legislature of this State the rules governing, in such cases have been prescribed. Turner Green and Emma Kinney (colored) should be married if they so desire. Respectfully returned to Capt. Hay. Attention called to endorsement of Genl. Whittlesey.

States that 2 children of Sam and Lilly Ware have been bound by Mr [[Bowe? Boone?]] Citizen Agt. for Caswell Co. against the wishes and asks to have them restored to their parents. Respectfully returned to Lieut. Isaac Porter Asst Supt. Sub-District of Alamance. If these children have been bound out without the consent of their parents in violation of instructions contained in Par. IV Circular No 4 dated Feb. 16th 1866, they will be promptly restored to their parents. Particular attention is invited to the last named Paragraph and its requirements will be strictly carried out. This paper to be returned with report.

Requests a detail of a Corporal and four Privates for the purpose of enforcing the payment of judgments and fines also for the protection of the schools. Endorsement of Col. Carr Post Commander.

A.G.O. and if so to what extent. Col. Hamilton has been directed to furnish the detail to report to Capt. Jones for orderly duty &c.  Endorsement of Genl. Whittlesey. Respectfully returned to Brevt.
