Forwards Tri-Monthly Report and states that by Par 1 S.O. No. 74. Hd Qrs Asst Commr dated June 9th 1866 he is only allowed to employ a clerk for the month of June Wishes to continue to employ one for some time as his arm continue useless

Respectfully forwarded to Col. C.A. Cilley A.A.G. whose attention is invited to what Major Stickney says about a clerk to aid him in the discharge of his duties. I would recommend that he may be allowed a Clerk for the present if the state of the funds of the Bureau will admit.
