Terms of Agreement entered into this 28th day of February 1867 between Moncure W. Redford of Shelby County Tenn. party of the 1st part and Glenn Marshall & his two sons Archie & Peter.  David Jackson and his wife Martha & Samuel Smith & his wife Martha and his son Williams parties of the 2nd part Witnesseth.
That the party of the 1st part agrees to furnish the parties of the 2nd part good comfortable quarters. fuel for their own use & not less than eighty acres of good land & teams.  seed & farming tools & implements - sufficient to raise a crop of cotton & corn on his plantation in Shelby county Tenn. and the party of the second part agrees to furnish all the labor that may be required to raise a crop of cotton & corn on the land furnished as above.  The party of the 2nd part also agrees to furnish themselves in all provisions & pay all Medical bills and for all Medicines furnish there by the party of the 1st part and to furnish the feed for four work horses or mules
