RESOLUTION NO. 36
BE IT RESOLVED that the NACI commend the Commissioner of Indian Affairs and the Executive Officers of the Indian Bureau for the decision to comply with those provisions of the Indian Reorganization Act which require that all estimates of appropriations be made available to the tribal councils before their submission to the Bureau of the Budget and to Congress. 

RESOLUTION NO. 37
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, pursuant to this commitment to the natives of Hydaburg (Alaska), to give them adequate police protection against invasion of their reservation by representatives of the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and Libby, McNeil & Libby.

RESOLUTION NO. 38
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the defeat of S.17, providing for confiscation of Pyramid Lake Paiute Indian land for the benefit of certain white ranchers.

RESOLUTION NO. 40
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to abolish the practice of deducting from Indian estates the amounts received by the decedent as old-age benefits.

RESOLUTION NO. 41 
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the SEcretary of the Interior to provide a living wage for natives of the Pribilof Islands (Alaska), engaged in the government-controlled fur seal industry.

RESOLUTION NO. 42
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the Congress of the United States to adopt legislation providing fair compensation to the victims of the Wounded Knee Massacre and their heirs.

RESOLUTION NO. 43
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the Congress of the United States to adopt legislation providing just payment of the so-called prisoner-of-war claims.

RESOLUTION NO. 44
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI recommend to its member tribes that they amend their constitutions to eliminate provisions for Indian Office interference in the essential functions of said tribal organizations.

RESOLUTION NO. 45
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI endorse the various movements for regional intertribal organizations.

RESOLUTION NO. 46
BE IT RESOLVED that the NCAI urge the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to adopt a policy of consulting tribal officials in advance concerning the appointment of Superintendents, and other key officials of the various Reservations.
