Dear Betty——

I phoned before leaving for France but missed you and left messages instead; still I should like to thank you once more for the letter that you promptly got off to Walter Gutman. The grant is really quite small (one hundred a month) but the need is great - so the balance results.

Let me know when you plan to be in Paris so that I may not miss seeing you.

Ossorio’s show seems quite a success. The opening was a turnaway and booze & food almost overdone. He seems pleased and at present is visiting Dubuffet in the South.

Love,
Budd
