Esther G. Rolick

I've never been in a painting class. I've always sternly believed no one can teach an artist how to paint & especially a "predestined" one. If he has something great to say & a strong inner urge to express it he will inevitably find the way - & his own way.

I have painted for 8 years.

I won the Earle Scholarship at the Art Students League. I won an award in a painting competition at the A.S.L. Spotlight article was written about me as one of the most promising young artists in the League Bulletin.

I have been in a few group shows in N.Y.

I have been to Yaddo for two summer sessions & of course was recommended by important leaders in the art field.

I was photographed in Life Mag. July 15 1946.

At present I'm being sponsored for a year possibly longer, to paint in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala.

Dear Mrs. Parker, is the above material, sufficiently informative?

Mr. & Mrs. H. Peterson will be moving November 1st from 84 Perry to 49 Perry Street. Mrs. Peterson, will always be most gracious & helpful.

Sincerely
Esther G. Rolick

P.S. There is one l in my last name. E.
