Your trip is fabulous, and I'm so delighted. I knew you'd love the place, but I think you'll like Japan equally well. Great good luck in your exhibit in Tokyo. I know the people with the Takishamaya Department Store, Mr. Maeda. He is a wonderful man. Also, they own the Pacific House organization.

Didn't you enjoy the Sarabhais? I think they are an amazing family, and Gira has done a great job. I had a letter from her the other day asking for some information. We keep in touch a great deal.

I'm sending a copy of this letter to your Tokyo address, so you'll get it either in India or in Japan or both.

I'm going out to Taliesin West, Mrs. Frank Lloyd Wright's wonderful school in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday and will be there for three or four days. Then I have two shows in Phoenix, chiefly of my new carpets. This is very nice because the company pays for my trip, and I must say a few days of Arizona sunshine is all to the good. It's been beastly cold and wintry here, although it's that way all over the entire United States. Many people think that New York is about the best winter city of all.

Beatrice, I hope your trip home is a pleasant one and that you can stop off for a few days of a lot of sunshine in Honolulu. I don't expect you'll get much in the Ojai at this time of year.

All the best,

Dorothy Liebes
