Dear Jim:

I am sorry that I did not get a chance to answer your letter sooner, but with Finch's closing and my own packing for Florida, things have been more than hectic.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Charlotte for the help and cooperation you afforded me in the preparation of your show. It was my pleasure and privlege to be able to work with you and it is something of a comfort for me to know that our last exhibition was of the highest calibre. I am confidant that your show will be well received on the tour.

I am disappointed to have to miss your show in East Hampton, but I am leaving for Florida this week. Since I cannot handle it personally, Janet Katz will deliver the photographs to EJ on tuesday, June 10th.

My sincerest best wishes to Charlotte. I look forward to seeing you both when I return to New York in the fall.

Sincerely,

Elayne Varian
