TWO STAFF APPOINTMENTS
Gallery Director Douglas G. Schultz appointed Bette Blum as Administrator/Director's Office and Judy C. Beecher as Public Relations Officer effective April 30. Coordinator of Public Relations since 1982, Blum joined the Gallery staff in 1979 as volunteer coordinator and was administrator in the Education Department from 1980-82. Bette Blum is a founding member of the Delaware Park Steering Committee, a director of the Buffalo Green Fund and a member of the board of trustees of the Nichols School.
Judy C. Beecher, a docent at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, researched and edited Charles Burchfield's journal as part of her Masters of Humanities work with Professor J. Benjamin Townsend at the State University College of Buffalo. She is currently a director of the Western New York Institute for the Arts in Education, the Grosvenor Society of the Buffalo and Erie County Library and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site.
