Born in Brooklyn, New York.

Studied: Cooper Union (Woman's Art School).
The National Academy of Design.
1938-40, Hans Hofmann.

[[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] 1936- met Jackson Pollock for the first time.

1938-42, participated in the Federal Arts Project (mural).

1942, Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner were both included in the exhibit of "French and American Painting" at the Mc Millen Gallery, NYC.

1945, October 25th- married Jackson Pollock. In November they moved to The Springs, East Hampton, New York.
