Dear Lee,
    Here is the edited transcript of the interview. I think it turned out remarkably well. I'm writing an essay about the influence of Pollock on the sixties and the meaning of the glass painting as part of his own thinking. When I told Hans he sounded nervous about what I might write. Always keep them guessing.
    Things are progressing very well with the film. I will send you a complete progress report. I'll be back mid August and we may spend a couple of weeks in the Hamptons which would be great.
    Remember, according to B.Rose the inspiration for Lee Krasner is Lee Krasner, or as I put it another way, the only way from keeping other people from ripping you off, is to rip yourself off first!
