Born New York City, 1911

Studied: Cooper Union, National Academy, N.Y., Hans Hoffman.

Showed with American Abstract Artists for 3 years in the 1930's. Has exhibited in many other group shows including "Abstract and Surrealist painters in America" at Sidney Janis gallery, MacMillan Gallery, Gallery 67, and Betty Parsons Gallery.

1st one-man show: Betty Parsons Gallery, Oct. 1951.

Married to painter Jackson Pollock, lives in Easthampton L.I.
