Dear Mr. and Mrs. Tremaine,

As I continue to work on this Last Two Decades show for Japan, paintings which belong to you appear as the best of all choices over and over again. I try to keep them down to a minimum, but this may well not be the last requests I have to make from you.

I wonder whether we might consider the loan of your Three Flags, by Jasper Johns, and Femme au Chapeau, by Roy Lichtenstein, for the exhibition?

Although I included the same information in my last letter, I again enclose details about the show. I hope very much that as a Council Member, you may feel you can help us make this an important exhibition.

Sincerely,

Waldo Rasmussen
